James Dean's motorcycle registration card from December 1953, shortly after he bought his Indian motorcycle. Card has Dean's name and New York address printed five times, along with the motorcycle manufacturer, partial VIN and title number. Dean's authentic love for motorcycles was well known, with this Indian being the penultimate motorcycle he would buy in his lifetime. Measures 4'' x 9.5'', with original mailing envelope and reply envelope. Near fine condition. From the estate of James Dean's agent, Jane Deacy.
