Before serving in the U.S. Congress, Lewis was an icon of the Civil Rights movement, marching alongside Martin Luther King Jr. and putting his own life at risk. Paperback book is signed by Lewis on the half-title page, ''To Bil and Chris, Keep the faith. Best wishes, / John Lewis / 5-3-04''. Paperback book measures 6'' x 9'' and runs 526 pages. Light wear with creasing to spine, overall very good.
