Nice lot of three items signed by Frank Sinatra, two items also personally owned by the Chairman. Lot includes:
1) Frank Sinatra signed 8'' x 9.5'' photo, inscribed in purple fountain pen, ''To Mary: In all sincerity Always: / Frank''. Glossy photo is heavily creased with small .5'' tear at top edge. Sinatra's handwriting remains bold, overall in good plus condition.
2) Frank Sinatra's Air Travel Card from 1941-42 during the time he played with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. Signed by Sinatra, ''Frank Sinatra'' on front. Card measures 3.5'' x 2.25'', encased in plastic holder. Very good condition.
3) Frank Sinatra signed and handwritten note to himself, originally tucked inside the Air Travel Card. Written entirely in Sinatra's hand, slip reads, ''Frank Sinatra / c/o M.G.M. Studios / Culver City / California''. Verso of slip is also handwritten by Sinatra, reading, ''Columbia Broadcasting Co. / 485 Madison Ave / N.Y.C.'' Slip measures 4.25'' x 2.5''. Folds and light foxing, overall very good.
Lot is further accompanied by a letter dated 5 November 1990 on Sinatra Enterprises stationery, addressed to the consignor. Letter reads in part, ''On behalf of Mr. Sinatra he asked me to thank you for your warm and friendly letter…Your words about what his music meant to your mother were very flattering and Mr. Sinatra was touched by your kindness…the travel card is a lovely memento of a very special time.''
