Large oil on board by artist Robert Watson, artist of the famous 1953 edition of ''The Martian Chronicles'' by Ray Bradbury. In a similar ethereal blue aesthetic, painting shows architectural elements on an otherworldly landscape, emblematic of Watson's work. Painting measures 24'' x 18'', titled on verso ''Road to Jericho Revisited''. Signed on front lower right, ''R. Watson 96''. Minor soiling, overall in very good condition.
