Bill Watterson signed limited edition poster titled ''Taking Aim'', commissioned by the Rosenfeld Gallery in 1986 to promote an exhibition of political cartoons. Signed and numbered 19/50 at lower right by Watterson. Prior to creating Calvin and Hobbes - which launched just months before this artwork - Watterson cut his teeth as a political cartoonist, having majored in political science at college. Poster measures 13'' x 22'', hinged to custom mat. Near fine condition.
