Elaine Steinbeck autograph note, undated but likely 1958 when she and John Steinbeck were living in England while he was writing ''The Acts of King Arthur and His Noble Knights''. Note is to Steinbeck's typist Mary Morgan regarding Arthurian music. She also asks, ''Dear Mary, Here is another NOTE. Will you be in your 'office' at John's while he is out at Sag Harbor?...'' Single page on yellow legal paper measures 8'' x 12.5''. Light creasing, overall very good.
