Jimmy Carter personally owned pin from The Carter Center, the nonprofit organization he founded in 1982 to alleviate human suffering and for which he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002. Made of 10k yellow gold, pin features The Carter Center emblem of the intertwined loops - representing the interconnectedness of humanity, with a circular charm attached featuring Jimmy Carter's engraved signature on one side and ''The Carter Center'' encircling the emblem of a white dove representing peace on the other. Pin measures 1.625'' across and charm measures .75'' in diameter. Weighs 6.8 grams. Near fine condition.
