Joseph Holt signature, penned ''J. Holt'' on a slip pasted to the bottom margin of his CDV photograph. Holt served as chief prosecutor in the Abraham Lincoln assassination trial, successfully convicting all eight defendants of conspiring to assassinate the President of the United States. CDV measures 2.375'' x 3.875'', with E. Anthony backstamp on verso. Light soiling, overall in very good condition.
