Tennis superstar Arthur Ashe trophy from the 1969 Balboa Beach Club invitational held on 22 February 1969. Ashe's career was taking off like wildfire the same year he won this trophy, and the following year, he officially went professional. Silver trophy has ''Balboa Bay Club / Mens Singles / R U 1969'' engraved across front. Trophy is made by Titre Legal, as is engraved to bottom of award. Measures 9'' x 8'' with spotted tarnishing throughout. Very good condition. With an LOA from Arthur Ashe's widow.
