First edition set of ''Abraham Lincoln: A History'' by John G. Nicolay and John Hay. The Century Co.: New York: 1890. As one of the most comprehensive works on Lincoln, this expansive biography and collection of Presidential paper was put together by John G. Nicola, who was Lincoln's private secretary and John Hay, Lincoln's final secretary. Hardcover 10-volume set is in original green boards with gilt lettering to spine. Very minor wear overall. Near fine condition and quite rare as such.
