Theodor Geisel (Dr. Seuss) autograph note signed ''Ted'', on ''Dr. Seuss / The Tower / La Jolla, California'' letterhead. Geisel drafts two letters in this note, for his assistant to rewrite and mail at a later time. In the second drafted letter, Geisel forwards a story to his longtime agent Phyllis Jackson: ''...Here's another one that...sounds better than most. Hate to turn this guy down...Love / Ted''. Letter measures 7.25'' x 10.5'' on one page, with ''Dr. Seuss'' written in his hand on verso and then crossed out. Near fine condition.
