Abraham Lincoln signs "A Lincoln" to an autograph note he dates 20 February 1865. The note reads in full, "Allow the bearer, Mrs. Robards, with ordinary baggage, to pass our lines & go South." Slip measures 3.25" x 2" and comes framed with the envelope. Foxing to slip and mild smudging to ink on the right side, including to signature. Very good condition. Wooden frame with gold finish measures 7.5" x 9".
