Herbert Hoover typed letter signed, dated 19 October 1935 on Hoover's personal stationery. He replies to a letter from Benjamin Harvey, a carbon copy of which is included, about a Presidential re-nomination for Hoover. Hoover writes: "I could not but appreciate the kind thought which lies behind your letter of the 10th. My interest, however, is only to help crystallize the issues with which the country is faced…[signed] Herbert Hoover". Single page 7.25" x 10.5" letter is lightly creased and with a date stamp at top, else fine.
