Vice President to Benjamin Harrison, Levi Morton letter signed, dated 24 February 1893 on "Vice-President's Chamber" letterhead. Morton writes to a member of the Union League Club of Philadelphia, "…if not otherwise prevented, I should be pleased to avail myself of your kind invitation and join the member of your club in doing honor to the memory of General Grant…[signed] Levi P. Morton". The card style letter measures 5" x 7.75". Light uniform toning and residue from previous mounting on verso. Overall in near fine condition.
