Paul Brown typed letter signed upon "The Cleveland Browns" letterhead, dated 12 October 1956, ten years after Brown created the franchise. Displaying the connection Brown had with the local community, he writes to a fan from Columbus, "I received your letter concerning George Ratterman's foot work. I will turn your letter over to him. Any such 'give away' would be careless and I am sure he will be grateful for your observation. It was thoughtful of you to write…Paul E. Brown". 8.5" x 11" letter has three small holes, else very good.
