Bedtime story master, Thorton Burgess signed copy of his classic tale, "The Adventures of Peter Cottontail" published by Little, Brown & Company: Boston: 1921. Burgess signs "Your True Friend / Thornton W. Burgess / March 14, 1922" on the front free endpaper. By the time Burgess retired, he had written more than 170 books and 15,000 stories for his daily column, "Bedtime Stories." Volume runs 120pp. and measures 4.75" x 7". Dustjacket is worn with chipping and toning. Pages have some toning; overall in very good condition.
