Clark Gable's vintage Mathey-Tissot chronograph wristwatch from his personal estate. The magnetic leading man wore this watch likely during the late 1930's at the height of his career. 14k gold timepiece features gold numerals, gold hour and minute hands, and a new black crocodile leather strap. Watch is Case No. 84549, manufactured circa 1935. Diameter measures 1.25". Measures 1.5" from the edge of one band fastener to the other. Near fine. Accompanied by previous auction provenance from Christie's.
