Longtime ''Prince Valiant'' comic strip artist, John Cullen Murphy signed illustration of his heroic character. Murphy signs, ''For John Travis from John Cullen Murphy / 1983'' at the bottom of the sketch and writes ''Prince Valiant before the siege of Fort Hunt'' above. Pencil illustrated page was removed from a ring bound sketchpad and measures 11'' x 14''. Light toning, else near fine condition.
