First female Presidential candidate, Victoria Woodhull cabinet card photo. The female activist, with her sister, became the first women to found a newspaper and open a Wall Street brokerage firm. She ran for President in 1872, nearly 50 years before women received the right to vote in the United States. Photographer C.D. Fredricks & Co. stamped on verso of 4'' x 6.5'' card.
