Napoleon writes in French to his stepson, Eugene Rose de Beauharnais, telling de Beauharnais that he awaits his draft decree ''to end this case''. Visible portion of letter measures 7'' x 4.5'', framed with an engraving of Napoleon to a size of 12.75'' x 18.5''. Not examined out of frame. Single fold and faint foxing, else near fine.
