Retained copy of a letter from James Dean's agent Jane Deacy to Billy Rose, producer of Dean's breakout Broadway play, ''The Immoralist''. Dated 25 November 1953, Deacy writes in part, ''...please find Contracts to be signed by you and the Rider initialed by you for the appearance of James Dean in your production of 'The Immoralist.' / Mr. Shumlin advised that these were the terms reached by Jimmy and himself with your okay...'' Single sheet measures 8.5'' x 11''. Toning and some chipping, overall very good condition. From the estate of James Dean's agent, Jane Deacy.
