Retained copy of the letter to James Dean from his agent Jane Deacy. Dated 8 December 1953, Deacy is apprehensive about Dean buying a new motorcycle (see lot ). She writes, ''...I am assuming that the $475.00 is for a motorcicle [sic]...I am sorry that you are buying the machine. But I suppose that you know what you are doing...Love, / Jane Deacy''.
