Retained copy of the letter to James Dean from his agent Jane Deacy. Dated 8 December 1953, Deacy is apprehensive about Dean buying a new motorcycle (see lot ). She writes, ''...I am assuming that the $475.00 is for a motorcicle [sic]...I am sorry that you are buying the machine. But I suppose that you know what you are doing...Love, / Jane Deacy''. Single sheet measures 8.5'' x 11''. Toning and light wear, overall very good condition. From the estate of James Dean's agent, Jane Deacy.
