Western Union telegram to James Dean from his agent Jane Deacy, undated but likely 18 January 1954, the non-Broadway premiere date of ''The Immoralist'', a role which led to Dean being cast in ''East of Eden'' after Elia Kazan saw him act. Addressed to Dean at the Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia, c/o ''The Immoralist'', Deacy writes, ''My best wishes. I know you will be wonderful. Love, Jane''. Telegram measures 8.25'' x 6.125''.
