Letter from James Dean's accountant regarding filing Dean's California taxes. Dated 7 March 1955, letter from Samuel Grabel instructs Dean's agent, Jane Deacy, to have Dean sign and mail his return. The letter also mentions Grabel's picture in ''LIFE'' magazine, referring to the 7 March issue featuring a photo essay on Dean titled ''Moody New Star''. In one of the photos, Dean is shown feet-up in an office with a man shuffling papers, likely Grabel, but mis-identified in the photo as being Dean's agent. Letter measures 8.5'' x 11''. Minor creasing and chipping, overall very good condition. From the estate of James Dean's agent, Jane Deacy.
