Letter from James Deans LA agent, Dick Clayton, to his NY counterpart, Jane Deacy, regarding Dean. Dated 28 April 1955 during filming of ''Rebel Without a Cause'', Clayton writes in part, ''A check for $32.86 is due Bank of America on Jimmy's note...We took care of the Board situation [possibly draft board] and the records are being transferred here. Will wait to hear from you on the medical situation. / Have been on the set every day. He is very happy and the picture is going well...'' Letter measures 7.25'' x 10.5''. Near fine condition.
