Original Robert Indiana signed ''LOVE'' sketch, completed in red felt-tip. Indiana writes ''LOVE'' in his famous slanted square design, and also writes ''STAMP / US PO'', referring to the U.S. Post Office stamp issued in 1973. Perhaps the most iconic artwork of the pop art movement, ''LOVE'' is now one of the most popular symbols the world over, first designed by Indiana in 1964. Indiana also writes ''LOVE'' again in pencil on the verso and signs his initials ''RI''. Sheet measures 8.5'' x 9'' with irregularly trimmed lower edge. Minor soiling, overall near fine.
