Elvis trained under Master Rhee for four years from 1970-1973, mentioned by his friends as the most peaceful and spiritual of his life. In this collage photo, Elvis is shown testing for his 8th degree black belt, with Rhee signing, ''Kang Rhee Karate Instructor of Elvis Presley / September 16th 1973 / Memphis, Tennessee - USA''. Wayne Carman also signs twice, with both men writing in blue felt-tip. Photo was acquired by a student of Rhee's. Satin-finish photo measures 10'' x 8''. Near fine condition. With JSA COA.
