Evening clutch owned by the first woman to hold the office of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Margaret Thatcher. Black silk crepe clutch purse features a fall leaf design, with hand-woven Saga Nishiki brocade. Purse measures 9'' x 6'' x 2.5'' deep, with magnetic snap to close. Small spot of discoloration to back, otherwise near fine. From the Christie's 2019 Margaret Thatcher estate sale.
