Indian writer and poet Rabindranath Tagore signed photo, with Tagore signing his name in his native Bengali. Photograph was taken by Jindrich Vanek during Tagore's visit to Prague in October 1926. In 1913, Tagore won the Nobel Peace Prize in Literature and subsequently lectured around the world, becoming the voice of India's spiritual heritage. Matte photo measures 3.625'' x 5.5''. With writing on verso documenting the history of the photograph. Minor edgewear and surface scratching, overall in very good to near fine condition.
