Translated from French, Picasso writes that he sent his correspondents ''the pages of contributions to pay a lot of money'' and then continues, ''Tell me if you received this letter, then you could warn the [tax] collector of this loss.'' Picasso ends the letter by wishing his friend a Happy New Year for 1954. Single page measures 8.25'' x 10.625'', completed in blue ballpoint. Split starting at edges of horizontal fold and light creasing, overall very good condition. With a prominent signature by Picasso.
