Helen Keller signed first edition of her memoir, ''Midstream: My Later Life''. Garden City: Doubleday, Doran & Co., 1929. Keller signs in pencil as customary on the front free endpaper, ''Very sincerely yours / Helen Keller''. Filled with photographs including a frontispiece portrait of Keller with her dog Sieglinde, Keller here describes her exceptional life up until the age of 49, from matriculating at Radcliffe and attending a suffragette rally to meeting Mark Twain and reflecting on her partnership with Anne Sullivan. Bound in blue-gray cloth with top edge stained red, book measures 6.25'' x 9.25'' and spans 362 pages. Some sunning and rubbing to spine and light wear, overall very good condition.
