With all first printing points present, including ''First Published in April 1939'' on copyright page with no subsequent printings listed, and price of $2.75 on dust jacket. With decorative endpapers featuring sheet music for ''Battle Hymn of the Republic'' and decorative boards of the Joad family, matching the dust jacket. Minor sunning to spine of jacket and faint discoloration to endpapers. Overall near fine, in very handsome and much superior condition than normally found.
