Lot of items from the exhibition ''The World of Anne Frank: 1929 - 1945'', held circa 1989 in Montevideo, Uruguay and organized by the Anne Frank House Museum. All items are from the archives of the ''Ultimas Noticias'' newspaper in Uruguay. Lot includes:

1) Early passport photo of Anne Frank, taken in 1939 when she was 10 years old and three years before she and her family went into hiding. Photo is not a Type I, but rather a reproduction of Frank's original passport photo, measuring 2.125'' x 2.25'', affixed to sheet measuring 4.75'' x 7.75'', with display instructions in Spanish. Light wear, overall in very good condition.

2) Agence-France Presse press photo of the floor plan of the Amsterdam annex where Anne Frank lived in hiding, with A.F.P. backstamps on verso as well as slip describing the photo in Spanish. Glossy photo measures 5'' x 7''. Near fine condition.

3) Press photo dated 3 November 1989 from La Haya, Netherlands of Miep Gies, the woman who assisted Anne Frank and the others to hide without detection for over two years. Gies is shown with her husband as well as West German Ambassador Otto Gablenz and his wife. Glossy photo measures 8.5'' x 7''. Near fine condition.

4-5) Photos, ostensibly from the exhibition, showing a large number of people seated as well as a young woman addressing them. ''Remembering Anne Frank'' is penned in Spanish to the 3.625'' square photo on verso. ''Tribute to Anne Frank'' is penned on verso of contact strip measuring 6.5'' x 1.5''. Very good plus condition.
