Signed ''Marilyn Monroe'' with her trademark flowing penmanship, under which she writes her address, 882 N. Doheny Drive where she lived from 1953-1954. Marilyn was adjusting to worldwide global stardom at this time, with her sultry breakout performance in ''Niagara'' in early 1953 and the smash hit ''Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'' debuting that summer. Check measures 5.75'' x 2.75''. With Gottesman's stamp on verso. Near fine condition. Check has been certified by PSA as #84551545 though check has been removed from its encapsulation.
