Martin Luther King, Jr. signed church donation receipt, penned ''Best Wishes / Martin Luther King'' without inscription. Donation receipt is from 1965 for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Chicago, with the typed name of Mr. J. Krueger, who likely obtained the autograph from King. Slip measures 5'' x 7.5'' with carbon on verso. Bottom of receipt has carbon impression of King's signature, as does a second carbon copy page, presented here as the last image. Slip that is hand-signed by King has folds and some staining to slip, overall very good condition.
