Original Charles Schulz hand-drawn ''Peanuts'' comic strip published 21 August 1959 during the golden age of comic art. In this unique strip featuring a political protest by Linus, Schroeder bogarts the event by loudly proclaiming his unqualified love for Beethoven. With United Feature Syndicate label on first panel. Strip measures approximately 28.75'' x 6.75'' with inscription by Schulz on last panel, sending ''best wishes on Beethoven's birthday.'' With letter by Schulz mounted to verso of frame. Not examined out of frame, but appears in very good plus condition with only light toning.
