With very large signature, ''Victoria RI'' at top left, document grants Moses Poole of London a patent for ''improvements in obtaining the coloring matter from wool and woolens dyed with Indigo''. 3pp. card-style document measures 8'' x 12.25''. With blindstamped seal and Royal London stamp, dated 16 July 1842. Folds, else fine condition.
