Ticket to the U.S. Senate proceedings for the impeachment trial of President Richard Nixon. Signed in facsimile by Speaker of the House Carl Albert, ticket admits bearer to the U.S. Senate Galleries for 7 October 1974. Nixon would, of course, resign from the Presidency on 9 August, thereby nullifying the Senate tickets which had already been printed. Detachable stub along right side is still present. Ticket measures 5'' x 2.75''. Near fine condition.
