Ruth Bader Ginsburg autograph note signed on her Supreme Court note card, with embossed ''Chambers of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg'' at top. Ginsburg writes to her friend Davideen Werner on 16 December 2004, ''Though it is not possible for us to be with you February 5, we admire your determination. / Cheers, Mazel Tov, and every good wish on your Bat Mitzvah, Ruth & Marty''.

Ginsburg never had a Bat Mitzvah herself, as it wasn't customary in the conservative synagogue she grew up in. This gender inequality of her youth would fuel her lifelong commitment for equal rights. Card measures 4.875'' x 3.5''. Near fine condition.
