Theodore Roosevelt autograph note signed on an embossed White House card, writing to his Assistant Secretary of the Navy Truman H. Newberry on 26 June 1906. Note reads in full, ''Dear Newberry, Will you listen to what Mr Abbot has to say? It strikes me as important. Will you then consult one or two of the experts, & come over tomorrow to talk the matter over with me? / Yours / T. Roosevelt''. Card measures 4.125'' x 2.75''. Light toning and smudging to signature. Very good condition with bold handwriting.
