''In the Antarctic'' is Ernest Shackleton's telling of the 1907-1909 Nimrod Expedition, the first of Shackleton's Antarctic campaigns in which he ascended Mount Erebus. With all 50 photos and illustrations from the expedition included, along with a map of Antarctica. Rebacked in red cloth boards, book measures 5.125'' x 7.75''. Reinforcement to hinges and light soiling. Missing a preliminary page. Very good condition.
