''The Disneyland News'' vol. 1, no. 1 first issue from July 1955, commemorating Disneyland's grand opening. Full paper runs 24pp. with headline, ''50,000 Attend Gala Park Opening''. A photo of Disney with Mickey Mouse on the E.P. Ripley 5/8 scale railway train fills the front page, along with subheads like ''Disneyland A 20 Year Dream''. ''The Disneyland News'' was published monthly with this first issue until March 1957, and then on an infrequent basis until its last issue in 1968. Paper remains in very well preserved, near fine condition, ideal for framing.
