James Monroe land grant signed as President, dated 8 December 1819. Document grants a parcel from the Cincinnati Land Office to Frederick Hullsapple, assignee of Andrew Bailey. Countersigned by Josiah Meigs, Commissioner of the General Land Office. Vellum document measures 12.75'' x 8.25'' with intact red wax-based seal at lower left. Partially affixed to mat measuring 18.75'' x 14.25''. Folds and some soiling to left edge. Very good condition with rather bold signature by Monroe.
