Coffee mug for ''El Dorado'' (Paramount, 1966), starring John Wayne and directed by Howard Hawks. Beginning in the early 1950s, Wayne famously gave custom-made coffee mugs to the cast and crew of his movies, each personalized for the recipient and featuring the signature gold handle. This mug reads ''Bob From Duke'', given to Bob Shelton, the founder of Old Tucson Studios where the film was shot. Measures 3.5'' tall and 3.5'' wide, not including handle. Light wear, overall very good plus condition.
