Hopkins became a director of the The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company before pledging money towards the Johns Hopkins University and Hospital with the caveat that ''all races'' would be provided assistance. Certificate measures 10'' x 6.5''. Toning and cancelled holes along bottom affecting signature. Revenue stamp featured on lower left. Overall very good condition.
