Civil War era shield made from an American flag. This completely unique item is handcrafted as a decorative piece, with 31 stars of two sizes above the red and white stripes. The backing consists of corrugated cardboard, giving the shield its shape and structure. Measures 16.75'' x 25''. The cloth flag material is aged and soiled with some minor unraveling at edges, and the backing is stained and chipped. Overall in good condition.
